Del Mar Sea Foods: Presenting Sponsor for 2012 and 2013 Food & Fund Drive
– Apr 05, 2012
Del Mar Seafoods is the presenting sponsor for the Food Bank for Monterey County’s Food & Fund Drive for the next two years!
This past holiday season the family did something very special to celebrate the holidays by giving back to the community in a big way! Their family business, DelMar Seafoods, made a three-year commitment to be a major financial sponsor for us!
Family and community have always been important to the Cappuccio family. When Santo Cappuccio immigrated to Monterey from Sicily in 1946 he found a new place to call home for his family, supporting his family working on a fishing boat trawling Monterey Bay. Now, more than 60 years later, the family legacy continues to be maintained by his decendents. They now own and operate DelMar Seafoods, Inc., a fishing and processing company.
Through their generosity, DelMar Seafoods has made it possible to provide food to hundreds of families. We are
thankful for their giving hearts and desire to serve as an example to others in the community by allowing us to
share their story!
Our gratitude goes out to President and CEO Joseph F. Cappuccio, C.F.O. Joseph Roggio, Sales Manager Mary Lou Gonzales and the entire Del Mar Seafoods team.
